
Koevermans Injury Update

Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC announced Tuesday that forward and Designated Player Danny Koevermans will undergo surgery to address a torn ACL in his left knee. The date of the surgery has yet to be determined. He will be out of the lineup for the remainder of the 2012 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.
He sustained the injury in the first half of Saturday night's match against the New England Revolution.
Koevermans is in his second season with Toronto FC. During the 2012 MLS regular season, he appeared in 16 games with 12 starts and scored 9 goals. Since joining the club in June 2011, Koevermans has scored 19 goals in all competitions for Toronto FC.
Toronto FC hosts the Colorado Rapids at BMO Field on Wednesday, July 18. Kick off is at 7 p.m.
