
Knights Sweep Bisons

FORT MILL, S.C. - July 19, 2007 - The Charlotte Knights beat Buffalo 15-6, making this the first four game series sweep for the Knights this season. It's the Knights 6th victory in their last 7 games and the team has now won 15 of their last 23.
Charlotte set two offensive highs for the season in both hits and home runs. The Knights were led by outfielder Ryan Sweeney who was 3-4, with two home runs and five RBI. Other Knights who hit a home run were first baseman Casey Rogowski, second baseman Danny Richar and shortstop Tomas Perez. Charlotte accomplished another offensive feat with 19 total hits. All of the Knights starters recorded a hit in the game.
The Knights leave home for a 12 game road trip that starts on Friday against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. RHP Lance Broadway (5-5, 3.92 ERA) starts for the Knights and will face off against RHP Colter Bean (2-0, 6.04 ERA) from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Knights will return to Knights Stadium on August 1st against Toledo.
