
Knights Stadium To Host WBT's Skyshow

Fort Mill, SC - The Charlotte Knights are pleased to announce that they will be hosting WBT's Skyshow on July 4, 2006 presented by Bank of America, The Charlotte Observer,and TimeWarner Cable.
The day will kickoff at 3 p.m. with the Skyshow Tailgate Party. This family-oriented event is FREE and will include a large variety of food and beverages, vendor displays, and children's area that will contain a climbing wall, carnival games and rides. A special exhibit from Carolina's Aviation Museum will also be on display. There will be prizes and giveaways all afternoon long. In addition there will be live musical entertainment, details of which will be announced at a later date.
At 6 p.m. the gates will open to Knights Stadium for the 7:15 p.m. game between the Charlotte Knights, Triple-A Affiliate of the World Champion Chicago White Sox, and the Norfolk Tides, Triple- A Affiliate of the New York Mets. Tickets for this game range from $6 to $12 and are available by calling 704-36-HOMER or may be purchased online at wbtskyshow.com.
Following the conclusion of the game the sky will light up with the Southeast's Largest Fireworks Show. The show, the largest in Knights Stadium history, will be synchronized to a patriotic soundtrack played live inside Knights Stadium and broadcast on News Talk 1110 WBT & 99.3fm.
Parking at Knights Stadium will be $5 and will open at 3 p.m. There will also be FREE priorityshuttle service to the stadium from the Dillard's parking area at Carolina Place Mall. Parking at the mall will be free and buses will begin running at 2:45 and will continue on a rolling schedule until after the fireworks show. Fans that take advantage of the shuttle service will receive a free gift from the Charlotte Knights.
