
Knights Become First Team To 20 Wins

Fort Mill, SC - With a 4-0 victory over the Buffalo Bisons last night the Charlotte Knights became the first team in Minor League Baseball to win 20-games in 2006. The Knights currently hold a record of 20-6 and are atop the South Division in the International League.
The Knights are also currently on their longest winning streak of the season. The Knights have won their last eight games and all eight games have come on the road. The Knights began their road trip with a four game sweep in Ottawa, followed up by a four game sweep of the Bisons in Buffalo.
The 20-6 start is also the best start to any season for the Knights during their eight year affiliation with the Chicago White Sox.
The Knights return home tomorrow, Thursday, May 4 for a four game series with the Louisville Bats before taking on the Indianapolis Indians in a four game set beginning on Monday, May 8.
