Hens Return Home To Face Two IL South Opponents

On Thursday, May 4, the Mud Hens will return to Fifth Third Field for an eight-game homestand that brings to town two IL South opponents. This season, the Hens are 4-8 versus the South. Richmond and Norfolk will both be here for a four-game set, starting with the Braves on Thursday night and ending with the second of the 10:30 AM "School-Days" on Thursday, May 11 against the Tides. This homestand will also feature a Kids Run the Bases and Autograph Sunday, as well as the first two "Scout Sleepovers" at Fifth Third Field.

Thursday, May 4 (Richmond, 1st pitch @ 6:30 pm) - Tonight's game can be heard live on Sports Radio 1470 AM - The Ticket. The game can be seen on tape-delay at 11 PM on BCSN. Tonight the Mud Hens also welcome Scooby Doo to Fifth Third Field.

Friday, May 5 (Richmond, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - The first "Scout Sleepover" of the year takes place tonight following the game. There will be a scout parade prior to the game on the field. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a sombrero as part of the Sombrero Giveaway. Post-Game Fireworks will entertain the fans following the game. Fans can catch all of the action live on Sports Radio, 1470 AM - The Ticket and can watch the game tape-delayed on BCSN at 11 PM.

Saturday, May 6 (Richmond, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - The second "Scout Sleepover" will follow the game with a scout parade taking place prior to the game. Tonight marks the third night of the High School Home Run Derby, featuring two players from local high schools, Whitmer High School and Bowsher High School. Fans will again be treated to post-game fireworks. It will also be "Strike Out a Stroke Night." Catch all of the action LIVE on BCSN and as always, on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket.

Sunday, May 7 (Richmond, 1st pitch @ 2:00 pm) - - The third Autograph Sunday of the year can be seen LIVE on BCSN. Fans can catch all of the action live on Sports Radio, 1470 AM - The Ticket. As always, Kids Run the Bases after the game and can receive a free face painting prior to the game. Today will also be Red Hat Ladies Day as well as City of Northwood Day. The AAA Patrollers will have a parade on the field prior to the game.

Monday, May 8 (Norfolk, 1st pitch @ 6:30 pm) - Catch all of the action live on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket. 2005 Mud Hens catcher Sandy Martinez, now with the Tides, is scheduled to receive his 2005 championship ring prior to the game.

Tuesday, May 9 (Norfolk, 1st pitch @ 6:30 pm) - Catch all of the action live on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket. Tonight also marks the second ProMedica Testing Tuesday of the season.

Wednesday, May 10 (Norfolk, 1st pitch @ 6:30 pm) - Catch all of the action live on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket. Fans can watch the game on a tape delay on BCSN at 11:00 PM.

Thursday, May 11 (Norfolk, 1st pitch @ 10:30 am) - BCSN will have all of the action - LIVE at 10:30 for today's game. As always, turn the radio dial to 1470 AM, The Ticket to catch all of the action live on the airwaves. Today marks the second "School Day" of the season. Students in attendance will receive a school folder, courtesy of Pepsi and Red Robin as they exit the park. A special appearance by Red Robin's very own - "Red" will have children entertained all afternoon.
