
Knighthawks' Steve Toll Wins Weekly Award

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Knighthawk Steve Toll was named the National Lacrosse League's Transition Player of the Week for Week 16. Toll helped Rochester to a two-game sweep of the Buffalo Bandits last weekend by registering one goal, four assists and 19 loose balls.
On April 13th, Toll scored one goal and added three assists for four points and collected nine loose balls in a 14-10 road win over the Buffalo Bandits. Toll also tallied an assist and collected 10 loose balls in a 14-8 home win over the Bandits at The Blue Cross Arena on April 14th.
The Rochester Knighthawks (14-2) host the Toronto Rock (6-10) on April 20th in the East Division Semifinal at The Blue Cross Arena. The 8:05 p.m. game will be broadcast live on WYSL 1040-AM and wysl1040.com. The Knighthawks playoffs are sponsored by Time Warner Cable.
Rochester is the No. 1 seeded team in the NLL Champion's Cup Playoffs. The Knighthawks ended the 2007 campaign with a franchise record 12-straight wins and earned their second division title in team history. Toronto completed the season with three straight loses. The Knighthawks were 2-0 against the Rock this season.
