Rochester Knighthawks News Release
(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Knighthawks General Manager Regy Thorpe announced today that forward Jason Henhawk will miss the next two to three weeks due to a left leg injury he suffered last Saturday in the Knighthawks' 13-11 win over Toronto. Henhawk had seven points (3+4) before going down with an injury late in the fourth quarter.
"He has been in Rochester the last couple of days to get further tests and an MRI," said Thorpe. "He suffered a lower-body injury and should be back in a two to three week period."
Henhawk is fourth on the team with 11 points (4+7) in three games. His seven points last game were a career high.
"I feel a lot better than I felt Saturday night," said Henhawk. "I am walking around now without crutches. I can't wait to get back."
Without Henhawk, the Knighthawks will hit the road next game on Sunday, February 15th for an 8:00 p.m. contest against the New York Titans at Madison Square Garden.
