Portland Lumberjax News Release
PORTLAND, February 4, 2009 - Portland LumberJax season ticket holders Jeremy Sherwood and Lindsay Bell have sat back and enjoyed for three plus years as the Jax have wowed their local fans and captivated a city starving for a championship team. When presented with the opportunity, Sherwood and Bell gave back.
Sherwood and Bell have created the new Jax website with the help of Assistant Coach and Community Relations and Creative Design Director Dallas Eliuk. Eliuk created the layout and design of the new page and Sherwood, of Opus Interactive, and Bell, of Dark Water Studios, LLC, put Eliuk's creation online.
"With lacrosse being one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, Opus Interactive saw this opportunity to work with the West Division Champions as an opportunity we could not pass up," said Sherwood. "As a long time lacrosse player, coach and season ticket holder, I could not be happier to help support the sport and team."
The new site features expanded player bios, cool backgrounds and other graphics and the most updated information on everything that is Portland Lacrosse.
"Working together with Dallas on the Jax website has been a very cool project," said Bell. "I really enjoy attending all of the Jax games and through this project my team has gained a new appreciation for the sport."
