Knicks Acquire Cunningham; Waive Gilder-Tilbury

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, announced today that the team has acquired forward Josh Cunningham and waived forward Kavin Gilder-Tilbury.

Cunningham, 6'7, 220, attended Bradley (2014-15) and Dayton (2015-19). With the Flyers, Cunningham scored 964 points in three season which slots him 52nd all-time in the program's history. The three-time captain was named to the NABC Second Team All-District and elected to the All-Atlantic 10 Third Team as a junior and senior. The Chicago native led the Flyers in free throw shooting (.623, 94-of-151) and concluded his collegiate career second best all-time with a career field goal percentage of .649 (367-of-574).

Most recently, Cunningham played for Leiden in FIBA Europe Cup averaging 4.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.9 assists.

Gilder-Tilbury, 6'7, 210, was originally picked up by Westchester prior to the start of Training Camp and again on November 22. He averaged 0.8 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.3 assists in four games played.

Westchester travels to one last opponent before the 2019 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase in the Canton Charge, Tuesday, December 17 at 7 PM ET.
