Rich in the Clutch - Richard Martinez continues to come up big in the clutch this season. He started the K-Tribe's comeback last night with a 2-run single in the fifth to make it a 4-3 game. He has nearly as many RBI (12) as hits (13) this season and his hitting .375 with RISP.
Kip Power - Jason Kipnis hit his team-leading fourth home run last night and now leads the club with 14 RBI. It was the first 3-run shot hit by Kinston this season. Kipnis' .340 batting average is 7th in the Carolina League and he also leads the K-Tribe with 11 multi-hit games.
