
Kinston - Myrtle Beach Suspended due to rain

Tonight's game between Kinston and Myrtle Beach will be picked up tomorrow at 5PM at Grainger Stadium. With the Pelicans up 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning and one on, one out for Kinston; thunderstorms ripped through the area and postponed the game.
Kinston's 20-year-old ace Chuck Lofgren, got off to a rough start allowing three hits and two earned runs over four innings. Kinston scored their one run of the game when Trevor Crowe lead off the bottom of the first inning with a double, advanced to third on a wild pitch, and scored on a ground out by Argenis Reyes.
The game will be picked up tomorrow at 5PM and played to completion. Then game two of the series, a seven inning game, will be played thirty minutes after the completion of game one.
