The Kalamazoo Kings returned home Monday night and defeated the Midwest Sliders 9-3. Kings' starter Trent Lare picked up his second win of the season with another quality start, going 6 1/3 innings and allowing 3 ER's. The offense came through for Lare as every starter reached base with six different hitters collecting at least one RBI. The bullpen came through once again for the Kings as they closed out the final 2 2/3 innings by only allowing 2 hits.
