In a driving storm, the Kalamazoo Kings beat the Traverse City Beach Bums 5-3 to win the series.
Kings' starter Bernard Robert went 7 1/3 innings while allowing 3 ER's with 6 strikeouts to pick up his sixth win of the season. Closer Dan Baerlocher came in the eighth for the five out save.
Brendan Murphy hit a two run HR, his 17th, in four run fourth to lead the Kings to victory.
