Kings Recall Toffoli from Manchester

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled right wing Tyler Toffoli from the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Toffoli, who turns 21 today, has played in eight games for the Kings this season, his first in the NHL. He has recorded five points (2-35), a plus-three rating and two penalty minutes. He's averaged 11:55 minutes per game and one of his goals came on the power play.

Toffoli played in 58 games with Manchester this season, recording 51 points (28-2351), 18 penalty minutes and a plus-20 rating. The 6-foot-1, 187-pound native of Scarborough, Ontario was named AHL Rookie Of The Year and to the AHL All-Rookie Team this season. He also appeared in the 2013 AHL All-Star Game.

Toffoli was originally selected by the Kings in the second round (47th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
