
Minnesota Wild Assigns Veilleux

Houston, TX - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Wednesday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned forward Stephane Veilleux to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Veilleux was recalled by Minnesota on April 22 and did not appear in Tuesday night's 2-1 win over Los Angeles. The 31-year-old has notched eight points (3-58) and 45 penalty minutes (PIM) in 33 games with the Aeros this season. Houston opens the Calder Cup Playoffs as the #6 seed in the Western Conference and will meet the Grand Rapids Griffins in the first round.
