Kings Pull Deja Vu
Published on August 14, 2009 under Frontier League (FL)
Kalamazoo Kings News Release
In eerily similar fashion to Thursday night's game, the Kalamazoo Kings pulled out another walk off win, this time by a score of 10-8 over the Gateway Grizzlies. Just like Thursday night, the Kings jumped out to an early lead, this time 4-0. Gateway came back just like River City and took an 8-7 lead only to see Brendan Murphy send the fans home happy with a walk off 3-run HR in the bottom of the ninth. This is the ninth win for the Kings in their final at bat.
