
Kings Loose To Roosters

Kalamazoo Kings News Release
The Kalamazoo Kings lost to the Richmond Roosters by a score of 9-3. David McWatters was the loosing pitcher going 4 1/3 innings giving up ten hits while striking out two. Leading the offensive attack for the Kings was Justin McClain who went 2-3. Phil Archer and Darryl Blaze each hit homeruns in the bottom of the ninth to prevent Richmond from shutting out the Kings. The Kings have an off day tommorrow and will be traveling to Springfield, MO to take on the Springfield/ Ozark Ducks for a three game set before returning to Homer Stryker Field on Friday for a weekend series against the Washington Wild Things.
