King Joins Lynx Public Relations Staff

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has hired Alex King as Public Relations Manager.

King, who served as an intern during the team's memorable championship run last season, will manage the team's day-to-day public relations efforts, including handling all local and national media requests for players, coaches and front office personnel. He joined the Timberwolves and Lynx organization prior to the 2008-09 NBA season, serving as an intern for two seasons with the Timberwolves and one with the Lynx. King, a native of Tinton Falls, N.J., has also previously worked with the Utah Jazz, Salt Lake Bees and St. Paul Saints.

King graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree is sports management and a minor in communications. He currently resides in Roseville, Minnesota.
