
Kincade Named IFL Defensive Player of the Week

Defensive back Antwon Kincade is the first Panthers player in 2024 to win a weekly award when the second-year pro was named the Indoor Football League's Defensive Player of the Week.
In Saturday's 53-50 win over San Diego, Kincade in on10 tackles, including six solo efforts. He also recovered two fumbles, the first for a touchdown on the Strike Force's first play from scrimmage.
"We are very proud to hear the news that Antwon has been named Defensive Player of the Week," said Bay Area Head Coach Rob Keefe. "There is no person that goes harder in a game than him and we love celebrating this well-deserved honor for his hard work."
Kincade is the first Panthers player to win a weekly award since JT Stokes and Trae Meadows were honored last July 13 following a 75-40 win over San Diego. Kincade is the 7th player in franchise history to win a weekly award.
The Panthers return to action on Sunday in San Diego for the second of four meetings between the teams.
