FULLERTON, Calif. - With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, rookie Tyler Keeble blasted a walk off homerun as Orange County topped the first place Yuma Scoprions, 5-4, at Goodwin Field.

Reliever Bryan Harris (2-4) earned the win, coming into a bases-loaded situation in a tied game in the top of the ninth and retiring the next two batters to get Orange County out of the jam. The final out of the top of the ninth was a ground ball that Keeble bobbled before throwing to first to barely beat the runner and hold the Scorpions scoreless in the inning.

All five Flyers runs came with two outs in the win while all four of Yuma's runs were unearned.

Byung-Hyun Kim made his first home start for the Flyers and immediately made an impact by striking out the first five batters he faced. Kim finished the night with 10 strikeouts and one walk while scattering seven hits and giving up four unearned runs over six innings pitched.

Orange County opened the game stringing together six consecutive hits with two outs for a four-run first inning. After singles by Jimmy Rohan and Keith Ginter, Sergio Pedroza's two-run double put OC on the board first, 2-0. An RBI single from David Harris, a single by Julian Benavidez, and a Jim Goethals RBI hit rounded out the frame for the early 4-0 advantage.

The Scorpions capitalized on Flyers errors in the third inning for two unearned runs, and two more unearned in the sixth.

The Flyers and Scorpions finish this two-game series on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm at Goodwin Field.
