The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees rode six different goal scorers and a three goal outburst in the second period to skate past the Corpus Christi Rayz 6-3 Saturday night at the American Bank Center. The teams both mustered 11 shots in the frame.

In the third period the Rayz could not get any closer and the Bees capped the scoring when Rob Voltera potted a breakaway goal past Zelenewich at 15:04. The Rayz outshot the Bees 8-6 in the period.
