Green Bay, Wis.- With the Green Bay Bullfrogs on the road in Madison on Wednesday, the front office staff and interns took advantage of the vacant Joannes Stadium.

While the Green Bay Bullfrogs baseball team was getting set to take on the Mallards, the staff participated in a kickball game between Team Orange and Team Green.

The game was played with uneven numbers leaving Team Orange with one less player on its roster, but that was not an issue for Corporate Account Manager Derek McCarty, who assembled the winning squad.

"When we got guys on base, we looked for base hits instead of home runs," McCarty said. "We had good team morale throughout the course of the game."

Team Orange was on the attack early, as intern Trent Kuffel kicked a grand slam in the opening inning.

Team Green received a home run from Director of Operations and team captain Sean Liedtky later in the game, as they chipped away at Team Orange's lead.

The game was tied 6-6 heading into the last inning of play. Team Orange rallied for six runs and held Team Green to a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning to come away with a 12-8 victory.

"I felt very positive about the efforts my team was able to put forth for the win," McCarty said.

The Bullfrogs baseball team will return to Green Bay on Friday to take on the Kalamazoo Growlers for Social Media Night, which includes giveaways throughout the game using social media.

Group tickets, season tickets and 7-game packages are on sale now. The Bullfrogs off-season hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information please visit www.greenbaybullfrogs.com.
