Williamsport Crosscutters News Release

The Keystone Little League team, the Mid-Atlantic representative in the 2011 Little League World Series, will be honored at the Williamsport Crosscutters game on Thursday, August 18.

"Each year, we host many of the World Series participants at a Cutters game", stated Cutters Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations, Gabe Sinicropi. "We wanted to make sure we got the Keystone team here before their first game at the Series to give fans in the area a chance to come out and wish them well. The Crosscutters and everyone in the area are very proud of their accomplishment."

The Crosscutters host the Tri-City ValleyCats, an affiliate of the Houston Astros, on Thursday with gates opening at 6pm for the 7:05pm game.

It is expected that the Keystoners will throw out a ceremonial first pitch, join the Crosscutters on the field for the National Anthem and sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch.

The Crosscutters are currently tied for 2nd place in the Pinckney Division of the NY-P League, one game behind the division-leading Auburn Doubledays and battling for a spot in the playoffs.

Tickets for the game, starting at $4.50, may be reserved via phone at (570) 326-3389 or purchased at the box office on game night.
