
Keys Rained Out for Second-Straight Day

For the second-straight day, the Frederick Keys are rained out. Friday's first game in the three-game series with the Lynchburg Hillcats has been postponed until Saturday, May 17. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will follow the doubleheader.
Right-handed pitcher Nick McCurdy (0-0, 4.15 ERA) will start the first game of the doubleheader for the Keys. Lynchburg will start right-handed pitcher Ian Oquendo (2-2, 5.17 ERA). In the second game of the doubleheader, left-handed pitcher Rommie Lewis (1-2, 3.05 ERA) will take the mound for the Keys while Lynchburg is expected to start right-handed pitcher Bobby Bradley (2-1, 3.31 ERA)
Saturday is Private School and Maryland School for the Deaf Keys For Reading Night. All participating students who read four books and completed the Keys For Reading program will be admitted to the stadium for free and honored on the field in a pre-game ceremony. Saturday is also US Army Night at Harry Grove Stadium. Tickets for Saturday's doubleheader can be purchased by calling 1-877-8-GO-KEYS.
