Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release
WILMINGTON, DE â The Wilmington Blue Rocks will appear on CN 8 (The Comcast Network) three times during the 2003 season, live from Frawley Stadium in Wilmington. The Rocks will play on CN 8 on Friday, May 23; Saturday, June 14; and Sunday, July 27.
Mick Moninghoff and Blue Rocks radio play-by-play voice Steve Lenox will call the action on CN 8. Kale Beers will call the games on AM-1290 and the Blue Rocks Radio Network.
The first of the three broadcasts will be on Friday, May 23 as the Rocks host the Lynchburg Hillcats. The first pitch will be thrown at a special time of 7:30 p.m.
The second broadcast will be on Saturday, June 14 as the Blue Rocks host the Winston-Salem Warthogs. The game time will be at 7:05 p.m.
Wilmington hosts the Kinston Indians on Sunday, July 27 with a 1:35 p.m. game time.
The Blue Rocks will appear live on television for the first time at Frawley Stadium since the Rocks played against the Frederick Keys on August 9-10, 2002.
