
Keys Game Against Kinston Rained Out

The first game of the Frederick Keys three-game series against the Kinston Indians has been postponed due to rain. The teams will play two games on Tuesday, May 6 and two games Wednesday, May 7 with both doubleheaders beginning at 6:05 p.m.
Tickets for Monday's game can be used for Tuesday's game or can be exchanged for a voucher for any 2003 regular season home game. The Keys have rescheduled Military Night for Wednesday, May 7 at Harry Grove Stadium. Military Personnel who received tickets are encouraged to use their tickets for Wednesday's game. All active military personnel who show their military ID will be admitted to the stadium for free. Tickets for the Kinston series can be purchased by calling the Keys ticket office at 1-877-8-GO-KEYS.
Taking the mound for the Keys (10-16) in the first game of the doubleheader will be right-handed pitcher Dave Crouthers (2-3, 3.27). Kinston (15-11) will start left-handed pitcher Mariano Gomez (1-1, 3.62) in the first game, scheduled for a 6:05 p.m. start.
Starting 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game, the second game will see left-handed pitcher Rommie Lewis (1-2, 3.04) get the start. Kinston will counter with right-hander Nick Moran (4-0, 3.21).
The Keys will conclude the series with the K-Tribe by playing a doubleheader on Wednesday, May 7. Game time is again scheduled for a 6:05 p.m. start. Following the series, the Keys will embark on an 8-game road stretch with 4 games at Lynchburg followed by 4 games at Salem.
