Frederick Keys News Release


The Keys play three at home against the Kinston Indians and then go on the road again for a seven day road trip before they come back to Harry Grove for a ten day home stand.

Keys Honor Local Military Facilities

All active military personnel who show their military ID at the box office will receive a free ticket to the game on May 5. The Keys distributed more than 3,000 complimentary tickets to Ft. Detrick, Naval Support Facility, U.S Department of Defense, Bolling Air Force Base, National Naval Medical Center, and Andrews Air Force Base. Players and coaches from the Keys will be visiting the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C. earlier in the day.

Adopt-A-School

Walkersville Elementary School will be attending the Keys-Indians game on May 7 courtesy of Outback Steakhouse. Students who passed the Math Facts test were given complimentary tickets to the Keys game.

ESL Recognition

Wednesday, May 7, pitchers, Sendy Rleal and Fredy Deza and second baseman, Omar Rogers will be visiting students for whom English is a second language at Monocacy Elementary and Frederick High School and encouraging them to do well on their language proficiency exam. Students who receive passing marks will be given a ticket to the Keys-Hillcats game on May 17 where they will be honored on the field before the game.

Take Over The Park

You and your company can schedule a fantasy day at Harry Grove Stadium. The day consists of playing on the field, seated massages, access to the Giant Eagle Fun Zone, and bingo in the café. Each day is custom made for the group enjoying it. Saturday, May 17, is Rolyn Construction Fantasy Day. For more information on how to plan your day at the park, call group events at 301-815-9900.

U.S. Army Night

Join the Keys on Saturday, May 17 as the Keys welcome the newest members of the United States Army. Recruits from the Army's Delayed Entry Program will participate in a ceremonial "Oath of Enlistment" during the pre-game ceremonies.

Ticket Availability

Kids 12 and under can get into the stadium for free Monday-Thursdays by wearing their little league uniform or showing their library card. General Admission seats for kids 12 and under, senior citizens, and active military personnel are $5. Adults can purchase general admission seats for $8. Reserved box seats are $9 and field box seats are $11. Children 5 and under are always admitted free.
