Kernels-Lugnuts postponed due to wintry weather

Saturday's game between the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Lansing Lugnuts has been postponed due to cold and wintry weather in the mid-Michigan area. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at 1:05, Iowa time, and will feature a pair of seven inning contests.
Up to six inches of snow is expected to fall Saturday night and into Sunday, accompanied by gusty winds. The Kernels are scheduled to be in Lansing through Tuesday, April 26th. This is the only time during the 2005 season that the Kernels travel to Lansing and the Lugnuts aren't in Cedar Rapids until the first week of July.
