Twin City Thunderbirds News Release

Winston-Salem, NC - The Carolina Thunderbirds are announcing a roster move ahead of Saturday's game against the Mentor Ice Breakers.

Jay Croop has been placed on the 30-day Injured Reserve with a lower-body injury. In a corresponding move the Thunderbirds have re-signed defenseman Jay Kenney to the active roster.

Jay Kenney draws back into the Carolina lineup after playing in three games previous this season. He has no points so far in 2018-19 and 22 penalty minutes to his credit.

The Thunderbirds and Ice Breakers play on Saturday night to conclude a stretch of four games in four days for Carolina. Puck drop is at 6:05 P.M. with a 5:40 pregame show on the Carolina Thunderbirds broadcast network.
