FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - New England Revolution midfielder Kelyn Rowe won Major League Soccer's AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 26, MLS announced today.

Rowe scored a pair of long-distance goals on Sunday against the Philadelphia Union, the second of which captured 41 percent of the fan voting through MLSsoccer.com in the four-day voting period between Monday and Thursday. Montreal Impact forward Marco Di Vaio's goal finished in second place with 21 percent of the vote.

Rowe scored his second goal of the game from 30 yards out in the 65th minute when he took a square pass from Dimitry Imbongo and let rip a shot that started left and bent right into the upper right corner past a diving Zac MacMath. That goal put the Revs up 3-1 on the way to the final 5-1 score line.

Rowe's goal of the week nod is his first - and the Revolution's second of the 2013 season behind Diego Fagundez's Week 14 winner - and comes on the heels of being voted Major League Soccer's player of the week for Week 26. The player of the week is selected each week by a panel of journalists from the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR).

The Revolution returns to action tonight, Friday, Aug. 30, when the team travels to face Toronto FC at BMO Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The match will be televised by Comcast SportsNet and carried on the radio by 98.5 The Sports Hub.
