CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that the team has signed C Kellen Jones to a Professional Try-Out Contract (PTO). A PTO is valid for up to 25 games.
JONES - (25 years old, 5-10, 185 lbs., Montrose, British Columbia)
Third on the Missouri Mavericks in scoring with 17 points (4g-13a) in 16 games
Tied for 9th in the ECHL in points, 3rd in assists
Was under AHL contract with the Oilers last season, and posted 5g-9a-14pts in 48 AHL games with Oklahoma City in 2014-15
Posted 7g-18a-25pts in 27 games as a rookie with ECHL Bakersfield in 2014-15

It's the biggest night of the year in Condorstown! Teddy Bear Toss is Saturday night, against the Stockton Heat at 7 p.m., sponsored by Eyewitness News, KERN 1180 AM/96.1 FM and Three Way Chevrolet-Cadillac. Bring a teddy bear or two to the game and when the Condors score their first goal of the night, throw them onto the ice. The bears will be distributed by the United Way of Kern County. This season we will pass the 100,000th stuffed animal mark in the event's history.
NOTE: IT IS ADVISED THAT YOU PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE AND ARRIVE EARLY TO THIS GAME. The Teddy Bear Toss goal has come in the opening two minutes of the game for three straight years. Don't get caught waiting in line and miss the big moment!
