Kansas City Current Duo Invited to April U.S. Women's National Team Camp

KANSAS CITY - A pair of Kansas City Current players in forward Michelle Cooper and forward/midfielder Ally Sentnor have been called up by the United States Women's National Team for the upcoming FIFA international window. U.S. Soccer announced its 26-player roster on Wednesday for its training camp and three friendlies against Japan.

The first contest will take place on Saturday, April 11, at PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif., with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. CT. The U.S. and Japan will face off again at Lumen Field in Seattle, Wash., at 9 p.m. CT on Tuesday, April 14, before concluding the series on Friday, April 17, in Commerce City, Colo., at 8 p.m. CT at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park.

All three matches will broadcast on TNT, truTV and HBOMax in English as well as on Universo and Peacock in Spanish, in addition to being available on the radio in English on Westwood One.

Entering this international break, Cooper has 10 caps, six starts, one goal and two assists on her resume. Sentnor has 18 caps, nine starts and seven goals - including a team-leading three in 2026 - plus a trio of assists.

Cooper returns to the international scene for the first time in nearly six months after recovering from a foot injury. Her last call-up was in October 2025 where she started two matches and dished out an assist against New Zealand at CPKC Stadium. She made her USWNT debut during the 2025 SheBelieves Cup with her first national team goal proving to be the game-winner vs. Australia during the tournament. She then recorded her first assist in a victory over China PR a few months later.

Sentnor's initial USWNT invitation was in November 2024, and she has been called into all but one senior camp since. Most recently, she netted the game-winning goal against Canada in the second match of the 2026 SheBelieves Cup, a year after her breakthrough at the 2025 edition of the event where she had two goals and an assist. Sentnor, the 2024 U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year, started the 2026 campaign by recording two goals vs. Paraguay in January for her second career USWNT brace.
