The Kamloops Blazers defeated the Kelowna Rockets 6-5 in overtime on Monday night in Kamloops, coming from behind to score the win.
The Rockets led 4-2 after two periods and 5-3 in the third before Kamloops scored to tie the game late and win it in overtime.
Chase Souto scored the overtime winner with just 15 seconds to play in the extra session after the Blazers had tied it with 22 seconds remaining in the third period.
Myles Bell scored twice for the Rockets while Ryan Olsen, Carter Rigby and Damon Severson also scored for Kelowna, which was playing its fourth game in five nights.
The Rockets earned a point for the overtime loss and still sit in first place in the WHL BC Division with a 37-10-3-1 record.
The Rockets return to Prospera Place on Thursday night to host Victoria, having won 21 straight games at home, the fourth longest single-season streak in WHL history.
