Rebels Partner for Blood Challenge

Red Deer Rebels News Release
The Red Deer Rebels have launched a unique campaign in partnership with the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Canadian Blood Service. "Hockey...It's In Our Blood", will run from Feb.1-28, and encourages fans in both cities to donate blood in support of this worthwhile cause. While the contest truely has no "loser", the real winners will be the local blood clinics, who urge fans to not only donate blood in February, but to continue the generosity into the following months and years.
To kick off the campaign today, Red Deer Rebels Sr. Vice-President Merrick Sutter, Director of Finance Nelson Lacourse, and Director of Ticket Sales Brett Kelly all rolled up their sleeves to donate for the first time. The "winning" city will be announced at the end of February.
