KINGS WIN 7-2 - The Kalamazoo Kings capped a 17-11 month of June by sweeping the Midwest Sliders with a 7-2 win Monday night.
Dave Pellegrine debuted by pitching six innings, striking out eleven Sliders and only allowing two earned runs. The Kings offense stayed hot by scoring in six of the eight innings they went to the plate and received home runs by Nick Achberger and Randy Moley. Mike Russell drove in two more to give him twelve RBI's in the past four games.
The bullpen pitched three scoreless innings to close out the game.
