K-Wings to help Mervyn's to celebrate Dr. Seuss's 100th anniversary

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce two great promotions for this week's games at Wings Stadium.

Tonight, the K-Wings will host the Port Huron Beacons at 7 PM. The game will coincide with Classic Hits 96.5 Classic 1974 Ticket Pack Night. K-Wings fans can purchase four white level tickets to watch Kalamazoo battle their intra-state rivals for just $19.74.

The two rivals will collide again at Wings Stadium on Sunday, February 22nd during Charter Communications/WKFR/Meijer Mascot Mania and Family Fun Pack Day. This action packed game will be part of Charter Communications Subscriber Appreciation Day. During the game, fans will have the opportunity to win limited edition merchandise from Charter representing many of the great networks they carry. Also, thanks to Charter Communications, a lucky fan will get a chance to win a FREE DVD player courtesy of Classic Stereo and Video.

Sunday's game will be one you will want to bring the kids to, as many area mascots will be participating in intermission activities and interacting with those in attendance. Besides the area mascots, Charter Communications will be bringing Sharky from the Discovery Channel, as well as Amber, Jasper and Billy Bob from Animal Planet.

As a thank you to all their subscribers Charter Communications and the Kalamazoo Wings are making Sunday's game a 2 for 1 game. Any Charter subscriber that brings their cable bill to the Wings Stadium Box Office will be get two tickets for the price of one.

Sunday's game will also be a WKFR Family Fun Pack Game, where fans can purchase four tickets, four Cokes, and four hot dogs for the low affordable price of $28. Following the game, the entire K-Wings team will participate in a post game public skate.

Special ticket offers to K-Wings games are independent from one another and can't be used for the same game.
