K-Wings tickets on sale

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that tickets for their pre-season games against the Muskegon Fury on Wednesday, October 6th and the Fort Wayne Komets on Saturday, October 9th will go on sale this Monday, September 20th at the Wings Stadium Box Office. The K-Wings also announce that single game tickets for the team's entire 2004-2005 home schedule will go on sale to the public Saturday, October 2nd at 10 am.

Face-off for the October 6th contest against the Muskegon Fury is scheduled for 7 pm. The K-Wings will conclude their pre-season schedule at home with a 7:30 pm face-off against their archrivals the Fort Wayne Komets.

Reserve tickets for either of the pre-season games are only $5. Tickets will be available starting Monday, September 20th at the Wings Stadium Box Office, on-line at www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling the box office at (269) 345-5101.

Regular season single game tickets for all K-Wings' games will be available for purchase beginning on Saturday, October 2nd. The K-Wings will play 40 regular season home games at Wings Stadium, including their home opener on Saturday, October 23rd, at 7:30 pm against the Port Huron Beacons presented by COOL 101.

All fans entering Wings Stadium on October 23rd will receive a Magnetic Game Schedule courtesy of Meijer; also the first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a FREE pair of Thundersticks courtesy of Michigan Orthodontic Specialists.

Other marquee nights on the K-Wings schedule include the K-Wings first ever Halloween Game versus the Muskegon Fury on October 30th presented by Pepsi, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, WRKR, WKFR and WWMT TV-3; the 3rd Annual New Year's Eve Bash presented by COOL-FM and WWMT TV3, as the K-Wings host the Kansas City Outlaws.

One of the most historic traditions in hockey will continue Thursday, March 17th, as the K-Wings host their archrivals the Fort Wayne Komets in the 24th Annual Fifth-Third Bank "World Famous" K-Wings St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game.

Season ticket holders that have already purchased their season tickets can pick up their ticket packages starting Monday, September 27th at the Wings Stadium Box Office. The Kalamazoo Wings are also planning a special Season Ticket Holder Party on Wednesday, October 12th at the Clarion Hotel on 3600 East Cork Road. The party will take place from 6-8 PM. All season ticket holders are encouraged to attend this party, as it will be their first opportunity to meet the 2004-05 Kalamazoo Wings.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $7-$12. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Box Office, or at any TicketMaster outlet.
