Single game IceHogs tickets on sale Monday

Rockford, Ill.-Rockford IceHogs General Manager Ryan Washatka announced Wednesday that single game tickets for the 2004-05 regular season will go on sale on Monday, September 20. The tickets will be available for purchase at the Rockford MetroCentre Box Office, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Ticket prices for the upcoming season start at just $7. Tickets are also available for $11 and $15. All tickets prices are subject to an additional MetroCentre surcharge. The IceHogs open the Steve Martinson era in Rockford on Friday, October 15, at 7:05 p.m. when the rival Quad City Mallards come to town.

The IceHogs begin the season with six straight home games in 04-05, including five weekend dates. After opening night, the IceHogs homestand will continue on Saturday, October 16 against the Kalamazoo Wings, October 22 versus the rival Missouri River Otters, October 23 against the expansion Motor City Mechanics and continue on October 27 against the Fort Wayne Komets before wrapping up against the expansion Kansas City Outlaws on October 20. All game times are 7:05 p.m.

The MetroCentre Box Office will return to it's regular fall hours starting Monday as well. The box office will be open from 10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday and 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Fans can also purchase single game IceHogs tickets on-line and over the phone beginning Monday. Over the web, tickets can be purchased at www.centreevents.com. Tickets can be reserved over the phone at (815) 968-5222. Phone orders are taken beginning at 9:00 a.m., Monday thru Friday. Tickets on Monday, however, can be purchased over the phone beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Groups of 20 or more can purchase their tickets at the IceHogs office or by phone at (815) 986-6465. Fans will receive a group discount, plus other great benefits like block seating for your game, a group welcome over the public address, running mention on the center ice scoreboard and a chance to enter into a group raffle for IceHogs merchandise.

Season Tickets Still Available: Season tickets for the 2004-05 season are still on sale! Ticket packages start at just $98. The IceHogs are introducing new for the 2004-05 season the Pay as Play Package. This package offers fans the oportunity to pay for their season tickets throughout the seven month season.
