K-Wings Curadeau Heads To Worcester

Kalamazoo , MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Mathieu Curadeau has been loaned to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.

Tied with Trent Daavettila for second on the K-Wings in scoring with 13 points (9 goals, 4 assists), Curadeau currently shares second place honors in the ECHL for game-winning goals with three.

Before coming to Kalamazoo, Curadeau began the season in the training camp of the Sharks.

The native of Montreal, Quebec is currently on a six-game point streak (10/31/09-present).

Curadeau becomes eighth K-Wings player this season to play in the AHL, which is second most in the ECHL behind the nine players called-up from the Charlotte Checkers.

The K-Wings will continue their four-game home stand tonight (11/20) with the third-game of the stretch with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Trenton Devils on Grand Rapids Popcorn Night presented by B-93. Don't forget a home game on Friday means it's Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beer and $1 hot dogs.
