K-Wings Announce Promotional Schedule

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce their upcoming promotional schedule and that tickets for its entire 2009-2010 home schedule will go on sale to the public this Saturday, October 3rd at 10 a.m. at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office and all Ticketmaster locations.

Highlighting the K-Wings' promotional schedule this season will be the return on "Frugal Fan Friday's." Last season, the K-Wings offered fans the opportunity to purchase $1 hot dogs and $1 beer during every Friday night home game in the month of February. With the success of the offer last season, the K-Wings are proud to announce that the deal has been extended to include all Friday night home games (*conditions apply) throughout the 2009-2010 regular season.

Fans will also be able to save money during all Sunday home games with Family Four Packs. Families can get four blue level tickets, four hot dogs and four Pepsi's for only $44. Following all Sunday home contests, fans will also have the opportunity to skate with the K-Wings on the Wings Stadium ice.

Money can also be saved during week. During weekday games, with the exception of premium night contests, fans who have the WKFR Key Tag can utilize a buy one/get one ticket offer (equal or lesser value).

Other highlights during the regular season include the K-Wings home opener on Saturday, October 24th versus the Reading Royals, presented by Meijer, Fed-Ex Office, WWMT and WZUU. Not only will fans get to experience the K-Wings first-ever ECHL home game, they will receive a magnetic schedule courtesy of Meijer and a special team poster courtesy of Fed-Ex Office and Tux Plus.

Other marquee nights on the K-Wings schedule include the 6th Annual Orange Ice Game versus the Toledo Walleve on Saturday, October 31st. Fans will be encourage to dress in their Halloween costumes and kids will be able to "trick or treat" in the Wings Stadium concourse.

A Wings Stadium favorite, the ZOOperstars!, will return to the complex on Saturday, November 14th, as the K-Wings host the Cincinnati Cyclones. In December, the Cyclones will return for the 8th Annual New Year's Eve Bash presented by COOL 101 FM and WWMT TV3.

Cincinnati will also be apart of the 2nd Annual Golden Ice Game presented by McDonald's, and WNWN on January 30th. The 10th Annual Pink Ice Game presented by WWMT and WKFR will occur on Sunday, February 14th versus Toledo.

One of the most historic traditions in hockey will continue on Wednesday, March 17th as the K-Wings host the Wheeling Nailers in the 29th Annual "World Famous" Fifth-Third Bank

St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game presented by WWMT.

The K-Wings will conclude the regular season on Saturday, April 3rd versus the Walleye on Fan Appreciation Night.

A complete promotional schedule follows is located at the bottom of this release and additional nights could be added at a later date.

Single-game tickets for any of the K-Wings 36 regular season home games will go on-sale this Saturday, October 3rd starting at 10 a.m.

Besides tickets going on-sale, the K-Wings will also give fans a sneak peak of the upcoming season this Saturday with a Showcase at Wings Stadium.

Saturday's showcase, which will commence at 7 p.m., will highlight the second day of the K-Wings training camp. Admission for the showcase is FREE and doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $9.90-$14.90 for adults and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice and New Year's Eve game) will be increased by $1.

All tickets that are purchased for any K-Wings game on game-day will be increased by $1 per ticket.
