K-Wings Acquire Jacobs from Main, Hildebrand Loaned to Providence

Kalamazoo, MI. - The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks acquired forward Colin Jacobs from the Maine Mariners on Sunday afternoon. In addition goaltender Jake Hildebrand has been loaned to the Providence Bruins (AHL).

Jacobs, in his sixth professional season, has skated in 195 ECHL games and added 46 games in the AHL. The centerman has tallied 95 points (41g, 54a) over his career. He began the season with Wichita where he appeared in five games. Jacobs concluded last season with Toledo adding nine points in 15 games for the Walleye.

Hildebrand heads to Providence after appearing in eight games for the K-Wings posting a record of 3-4-0-1, alongside a 3.81 goals against average and a .872 save percentage. The netminder previously appeared in three AHL games during the 2016-17 season with the Rockford Ice Hogs.

The K-Wings return to action on Thursday morning, taking on the Toledo Walleye at 10:35 am. The team then heads to Cincinnati for a pair of games against the Cyclones before returning home on Black Friday.
