Jupiter Hammerheads News Release
JUPITER, FL- Trevor Hutchinson and the Hammerheads pitching staff is clicking on all cylinders. Hutchinson made his third start of the season, throwing 5.0 innings and earning his first win on the season. Trevor did not allow a run on five hits.
The Hammerheads scored one run in the first and one run in the ninth. Brad McCann hit a one out single in the first inning that scored MLB rehab player Jeremy Hermida who had walked two batters previous. In the ninth inning, Dante Brinkley singled and scored Paul Witt.
Jarrett Santos, Scott Nestor, and Harvey Garcia pitched the final 4.0 innings did not allow a run on two hits to finish off the game. The Hammerheads will try and sweep the Threshers in Clearwater tomorrow night when they wrap up a four game series at 7:05. Jupiter will then play a four game stint in Dunedin against the FSL West leading Blue Jays.
