Montreal Juniors News Release
The Montreal Juniors Hockey Club was active today as the QMJHL trade period officially got underway.
The Montreal Juniors traded 18 year-old forward Luke Adam to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in return of 19 year-old forward Nicolas Chouinard, 17 year-old defenseman Spencer MacDonald from Charlottetown and a 2009 first round pick (14th overall).
Russian player Dmitri Kostromitin was sent to Rouyn-Noranda in exchange for a 6th round pick in this year's draft.
Finally, the Baie-Comeau Drakkar traded their 2009 6th round pick to Montreal's for its 2010 5th round pick.
