Montreal Alouettes News Release

Montreal, Apr. 21, 2009 - The Alouettes are pleased to once again welcome young football players in the 7-11 and 12-17 age groups for the 2009 edition of the Junior Alouettes Football Camps, this May 2-3 and 9-10 at Montreal's Percival Molson Stadium. The 13th edition of the camps are presented by SUBWAY restaurants.

The football training sessions at the camps are targeted towards kids between the ages of 7 and 17 and are personalized to their physical and learning abilities, and in accordance to their age groups. The Alouette players on hand to coach the kids will communicate their passion and knowledge of the game and reveal the secret tips that make them pros. Étienne Boulay, Scott Flory, Damon Duval, Bryan Chiu and Anwar Stewart are some of the confirmed players who will be joined by Alouettes' alumni Uzooma Okeke, André Bolduc, Bruno Heppell and Sylvain Girard during both weekends.

This year marks the second consecutive camps presented by SUBWAY, a long-time partner of the Alouettes with an increasing participation in the team's community-driven activities over the years, as well as in-stadium and with football fans across the province of Quebec. This association has been successful due to the common core values of both organizations: encouraging a healthy lifestyle, promoting the importance of young people's well-being and sports.

As was done last year, 20 kids from elementary and high schools in the Montreal region will have the chance to take part in the camps thanks to TELUS, who will assume the costs of enrolment and equipment rental. This unique experience will enable them to meet professional athletes and live unforgettable moments.
