Cincinnati Jungle Kats News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats of af2 announced their promotional schedule for the 2007 season. Among the promotions this season are: Armed Forces Night, Construction Night, Riders Night, Chad Johnson and Ken Griffey, Jr. bobblehead giveaways and posters of the Jungle Kats players and cheerleaders.
"We want every Cincinnati Jungle Kats game to be a special event for everyone who attends," Cincinnati Jungle Kats owner Sam Adams said. "The idea is for every person walking through the door to take home something from us and to tell all their friends about the great time they had watching Jungle Kats football."
Each of the eight Cincinnati Jungle Kats regular season games will be tied in with a theme and promotion. In each of the giveaway promotions, these will be for the first 2000 in attendance. The full run for the eight games is listed below:
March 31 v. Quad City - Family Night. This night is intended for families to enjoy Jungle Kats action. The halftime entertainment will be provided by the Zooperstars, with inaugural game posters, 2007 season schedule magnets, key chains and cowbells among the items given away.
May 5 v. Fort Wayne - Black and Orange Pride Night. This evening will be an opportunity for fans to break out their black and orange wear and celebrate the Cinco de Mayo holiday. In addition to a halftime concert, Chad Johnson 'Ocho Cinco' bobbleheads and sombreros will be given away.
May 12 v. Tennessee Valley - Armed Forces Night. This patriotic evening will pay tribute to the Armed Forces of the United States. Dog tags will be the giveaway item, as will Jungle Kittens posters. An Army swearing in ceremony will take place at halftime as well.
May 26 v. Alabama - White Out Night. Fans are encouraged to wear their white and accept white Jungle Kats t-shirts. Towels and Jungle Kats mascot bobbleheads will be among the giveaways, while Frisbee-chasing dogs will provide the halftime entertainment. The idea is to turn the arena completely white during the game.
June 2 v. Mahoning Valley - Awareness Night. This evening is for groups touting their causes. Breast Cancer Awareness and Faith Awareness are two of the many groups that will participate. Commitment bracelets, a halftime gospel choir and Jungle Kats posters are among the things fans can look forward to.
June 23 v. Louisville - Construction Night. This evening pays tribute to the working man in the Queen City. Jungle Kats hard hats, a halftime concert and mascot posters are the promotional items this evening.
July 7 v. Manchester - Riders Night. This game is for the motorcycle/bicycle enthusiasts. Bandanas, Ken Griffey, Jr. bobbleheads, Jungle Kats posters and a halftime concert are scheduled for this evening.
July 14 v. Green Bay - Casino Night. Nobody busts at this game! The Jungle Kats will have contests, games and prizes for fans at this game. Playing cards will be given away and a country western band will perform at halftime.
