
Shock hold open tryout for local talent

The Spokane Shock announced that they will hold an open tryout for prospective players interested in playing for the defending ArenaCup Champions during the 2007 season. The try out will be held on Saturday February 10 2007 at the Shock's new practice facility, 3212 North Eden, starting at 9 AM.
The cost of the try out is $50, for those who pre-register, or $60 at the door the day of the event. Pre-registration forms are available by visiting www.spokaneshock.com.
The playing surface is turf and prospective players are asked to dress appropriately with athletic shoes, shorts and a t-shirt; all other equipment will be provided by the Shock.
The format of the try out will be a pro-style combine. Select players will be invited to stay for position drills and scrimmaging.
This will be the second open try out under the tenure of new Head Coach Adam Shackleford.
