Cincinnati Jungle Kats News Release

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats close out their home schedule this Saturday night when they battle the division-rival Green Bay Blizzard at 7:30pm from U.S. Bank Arena. Saturday is also Casino Night, presented by Grand Victoria Casino; the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive an official deck of casino cards.

The Jungle Kats seek revenge tonight when they battle the Blizzard at U.S. Bank Arena. Green Bay snuck past Cincinnati 48-38 despite Cincinnati jumping out in front 31-7 early in that game. Their 31 points in the first half set a season high in that category, all in a losing effort.

After weeks of riding the quarterback carousel, the Jungle Kats may have found their signal caller - albeit this late in the year. In his first game of af2 football, Scott Jefferies completed 22 of 29 passes for 281 yards and 3 TD's. He also set a team single game high with 2 rushing scores.

Like many of the teams the Kats have played of late, the Blizzard is in a true fight for playoff contention. Green Bay is in a tie for second place in the Midwest Division, but more importantly, currently sits in the final playoff spot in the American Conference. A loss to the Kats tonight could potentially put them behind the cut line.

Plenty of great tickets for the game are available by calling 513.381.TURF or online at www.JungleKatsFootball.com. Fans can hear all the action of Friday's game on 1530 HOMER - The Sports Animal beginning at 7:15pm or watch the game live via the B2 Network at www.JungleKatsFootball.com.
