Mediacom Night at Cooper Tire Field

South Georgia Wildcats News Release
July 12, 2007, ALBANY, GA- The South Georgia Wildcats today announced the participants who will represent Mediacom during pre-game activities Saturday night, July 14th, as the Wildcats host the Texas Copperheads at Cooper Tire Field.
Gary Crosby, Director of Area Operations for Mediacom will participate in the coin toss, while Don Zagorski, the Regional Vice-President of Operations will present the first game ball prior to kickoff. The National Anthem will be performed by Stacia Watkins of Valdosta, and the opening invocation will be presented by Pastor Bryan Gerstel of The Pointe in Albany.
The Wildcats are ranked 5th in this week's af2 Coaches Poll, and they have a 4-1 record in the National Conference South Division. South Georgia secured a playoff spot this past weekend with a win over the Florida Firecats 47-40.
Saturday night, July 21, the Wildcats will host the Alabama Steeldogs in the final home and division game of the season. Tickets are available by contacting the Civic Center Box Office at 229-430-5204.
