Reading Fightin Phils News Release
FirstEnergy Stadium â Tonight's Eastern League game between the Reading Phillies and the Erie SeaWolves has been postponed due to the rain. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Tuesday, July 29 at 6:05 PM. Despite the abundance of wet weather, this is the first postponement of a game at FirstEnergy Stadium this season due to rain. At 4:00 this afternoon, the local radar indicated little chance of a break in the rain for game time.
Jim Palmer, who was to make an appearance this evening on behalf of Nexium, will be making an appearance at FirstEnergy Stadium later in the season. The exact date of his visit will be determined later.
Anyone holding regularly purchased tickets for tonight's game may exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2003 regular season home game based on availability. anyone holding I-105 tickets for tonight's game may use those tickets only on the designated rain date of June 17th.
