Last time out...

The Slammers scored a season-high 13 runs in their 13-5 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers on

Frank Pfister sacrifice fly. But the Slammers tied the game at one in the third on a David Christensen

RBI single. A Ben Hewett two-RBI single in the fourth inning put Joliet up 3-1 and they would not look

back. In the fifth, Joliet broke the game wide open with five runs. Seth Schwindenhammer, Javan

Williams, Marquis Riley and Christensen all had RBI singles in the inning. Schaumburg got two in the

sixth to cut the Joliet lead to 8-3 but the Slammers scored one run in the seventh and four more in the

eighth to put the game completely out of reach. Evan Anundsen picked up the victory for Joliet, going

six innings to earn his third win of the year. Riley had a huge game, going 3-4, with 3 R, 2 RBI & 2 BB.
